Fenerbahçe Women’s Volleyball Team lifted the championship trophy.

Fenerbahçe Medicana, which defeated Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 in the 2024 Women’s AXA Insurance Champions Cup match, received the championship trophy in a ceremony.

The Fenerbahçe Women’s Volleyball Team faced Eczacıbaşı Dynavit in the Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall in the 2024 Women’s AXA Insurance Champions Cup match, achieving victory with a score of 3-1. The yellow-navy players celebrated greatly after scoring the last point and received the championship trophy in a ceremony held afterward. In the ceremony, the second-place shield was first presented to Eczacıbaşı. Then, the Fenerbahçe Medicana team came to the platform. The yellow-navy team received the championship trophy from AXA Turkey Life and Pension President and Executive Board Member Olgun Küntay and Turkey Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ. Captain Eda Erdem made a gesture by requesting the young player Liza Safronova to lift the trophy. The team experienced great joy as the trophy was raised in the hands of Liza Safronova.

Fenerbahçe brought this trophy, which they previously won in 2009, 2010, 2015, and 2022, to their museum for the fifth time.

Fenerbahçe player Melissa Vargas was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the match. Vargas played a crucial role in winning the trophy with her effective performance, receiving the award from Turkey Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ. Meanwhile, it was announced that it was Melissa’s birthday today, and the fans in the hall responded with applause. The successful player, who turned 25 today, celebrated the victory while also receiving the best player award.
