Galatasaray signed a contract with their new transfer Roland Sallai.

Galatasaray’s new transfer Roland Sallai signed the official contract that binds him to the yellow-red club. After the signing, the Hungarian footballer stated, “I was coming to Turkey’s biggest club, and I accepted this.”

The first transfer period of the 2024-2025 football season ended last night. Roland Sallai, who came to Istanbul after reaching an agreement with Galatasaray in the final hours of the transfer process, signed a contract with the yellow-red community. Speaking to the press after the signing ceremony, Sallai expressed his excitement, saying, “I am excited to come to Turkey’s biggest club.” He added, “First of all, I would like to thank our president and all the valuable people who helped me come here. I have come to a very big club. Right now, I am very eager to meet with our coach, my teammates, and everyone working here. In recent weeks and months, there was interest, and I wanted to respond to that interest and come; because I was coming to Turkey’s biggest club, and I accepted this.”

“Our fans are incredible”

Emphasizing his eagerness to meet with the yellow-red fans, the Hungarian player stated, “On the other hand, we have a championship goal, as I mentioned yesterday. We also want to win the Europa League. I knew a few things, I spoke with our coach before. This place is far from the teams I played for before. I didn’t have much information; however, I am very happy to come here and I want to put the fifth star on our jersey. I also ask our fans to continue in the same way. They are an incredible fan group. If I go to the stadium this evening, I will go out there as well; but let’s see what kind of experience awaits me. I am eager to step out in front of them and play a match.”
