With the “Let No One Be Without Swimming” project of Battalgazi Municipality, 110 children learned to swim.
The swimming course held at Battalgazi Municipality’s Goztepe Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool has concluded. With the slogan “Let No One Be Without Knowing How to Swim,” 110 students who participated in the course successfully completed their 3-month training and received their participation certificates.

The swimming course organized at Battalgazi Municipality’s Göztepe Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool has come to an end. A total of 110 students participated in the course, conducted under the slogan “No One Should Be Unable to Swim,” successfully completing their training over a period of 3 months and receiving participation certificates.
The swimming course, organized within the framework of Battalgazi Municipality’s “No One Should Be Unable to Swim” project, was successfully completed. The 3-month training program held at the Göztepe Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool enabled 110 children to acquire swimming skills and develop their sports habits. At the end of the course, the children not only improved their abilities but also had the opportunity to take their first steps towards becoming licensed athletes. Among the 110 students who completed the course, 30 will be selected to join the swimming club to be established under Battalgazi Belediyespor, taking their first steps towards becoming licensed athletes. These students will earn the right to represent Battalgazi in national and international competitions.
Certificates were awarded to the students who participated in and successfully completed the course. Ibrahim Ethem Yazıcı, the Director of Facilities at Battalgazi Municipality, expressed the following regarding the matter:
“Our swimming course has made significant contributions to both the physical and social development of our children. The progress shown by our students during the training process once again highlighted the positive effects of such projects on the community. I would like to thank our dedicated instructors who worked hard to provide the best education to our children throughout the course. Our Mayor, Bayram Taşkın, who encouraged us to implement this project, values the youth and continuously requests us to organize programs in this direction. In the future, we will continue such projects to promote sports according to seasonal conditions and help our youth discover their talents.”
Taha Sıraç İltüzer, one of the students who participated in the course, stated, “I learned to swim, and we did really great activities. Learning how to stroke was a great achievement for me. Thanks to the interest and support of our instructors during the course, I improved a lot. I also thank Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın for providing us with this opportunity.” Another student, Cemre Doğru, said, “The training went very well. We learned different things in each lesson. We learned how to stroke and perform the dolphin movement. Our instructors were very helpful to us. We thank Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın for providing us with this opportunity.” Ömer Rüzgar Çoban, another student who participated in the course, expressed, “We had a lot of fun during the course. I learned to swim and also how to stroke. Our instructors took great care of us. I would like to thank our instructors and Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın for providing us with this opportunity.” A parent of one of the students, Şenay Demir, also thanked Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın for implementing programs that support children and youth, stating, “I want my daughter to become a licensed athlete in the future. I registered her for the Battalgazi Municipality Göztepe Swimming Course as a foundation for that. I chose this course because it is very close to our home. We are very satisfied. We are very pleased with both the instructors and the service. My daughter has been receiving training at the course for 1 month. I thank Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın for the service provided.”
