In the photography event organized by the Erzincan Governorship and the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, photographers immortalized Erzincan’s historical and natural beauties. The resulting images and photographs captivated those who saw them.
A photography event was organized in Erzincan for art and culture enthusiasts. Famous photographers Faruk Akbaş, Ahu Akbaş, cinematographer Muhammed Kösen, and astrophotographer Elif Gürel were invited to the event. During the three-day event, participants experienced unforgettable moments while exploring the historical and natural beauties of Erzincan.
First Day: The historical and natural beauties of Kemah
On the first day of the event, photographers stopped at the historic Kemah Acemoğlu Bridge to photograph the Acemoğlu Bridge and canyon. They then captured significant places such as the historic Kemah Gülabibey Mosque, train station, Kemah Castle, Sultan Melik Tomb, and Kemah Saltworks. At the end of the day, they took shots of the Milky Way and star trails at Ardos Lake, experimenting with light painting techniques.
Second Day: The enchanting views of Tercan and Otlukbeli
The second day of the event continued in Tercan district at Mamahatun Tomb and Mamahatun Caravanserai. Photographer Faruk Akbaş provided participants with information about photography techniques here. On the same day, photographers captured the Red Lake in the Otlukbeli district and experienced this natural beauty. At the end of the day, participants photographed the Abrenk Church in Üçpınar village and concluded the day with star photography at night.
Third Day: Interview and photo screening at Erzincan Provincial Library
On the final day of the event, an interview program was held at the Erzincan Provincial Library with Faruk Akbaş. In this program, photography enthusiasts learned about techniques such as the use of natural and artificial light in nature and portrait photography, travel photography, and astrophotography. During the interview, participants had the opportunity to watch the captivating photographs taken by Akbaş.
Participants who came from various provinces such as Hakkari, Bingöl, Hatay, Adıyaman, Sivas, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Kocaeli, Istanbul, Antalya, Fethiye, and Ankara for the photography event, which was organized with the contributions of the Erzincan Governorship and the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, thanked Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu for this event.
