In İlkadım, parks are being cleaned and repaired.

SAMSUN (IHA) – The teams from the Parks and Gardens Directorate of the İlkadım Municipality in Samsun are washing all the parks under the municipality’s responsibility with water and also maintaining the park furniture to ensure safe use.

Continuing their efforts to bring new parks where the residents of İlkadım can have a good time, the İlkadım Municipality does not neglect the maintenance of existing parks. The teams are thoroughly cleaning the parks where children and families rest, have fun, and enjoy fresh air. The teams wash the seating areas and playgroups with soapy water and also carry out repairs and maintenance so that children can safely use the play areas.

İlkadım Mayor İhsan Kurnaz stated that washing, weeding, and maintenance and repair works in the parks of the district are being carried out diligently as part of the joint efforts of the Parks and Gardens and Cleaning Services teams, saying, “It is very important for us that our parks are safe and hygienic places for both children and adults. Especially during the summer months, because there is intense use in sports areas and children’s playgrounds, germs can spread from hand to hand. This situation also brings along the risk of the proliferation of contagious diseases and infections. Therefore, we pay extra attention to the cleanliness of our parks. In addition, we do not neglect the repairs, maintenance, and renovations of park furniture so that our children can have fun with safer toys. Thus, parents can be at ease. With every work we do in İlkadım, we will continue to touch hearts and be by our citizens’ side in every moment of their lives.”
