In the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul, Arnavutköy Municipality continues to bring green areas with social facilities to the district with its new projects. The ‘Sheikh Edebali’ park, completed in the Haraççı Neighborhood, was opened today with a ceremony.

The Sheikh Edebali Park, completed by Arnavutköy Municipality in Haraççı Neighborhood, was inaugurated with the participation of Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu, Arnavutköy District Governor Mahmut Hersanlıoğlu, Municipal Council Members, Village Heads, Children, and citizens. Covering an area of approximately 4,200 square meters, the park includes spaces where citizens can enjoy their time. The inauguration program began with a recitation of the Quran. After the recitation, the protocol participants cut the ribbon together with the children in attendance, officially opening the park. Various refreshments were provided to the children participating in the opening program.

“May it be beneficial for all our children”

In his speech during the inauguration program, Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu said, “First of all, I wish it to be beneficial for both our district and Istanbul. The local governance understanding in Arnavutköy focuses on people. For this reason, we have created a beautiful area with playgrounds and sports areas where our fellow citizens can spend enjoyable time. I thank all my colleagues who contributed to this effort. I wish it to be beneficial for the residents of Haraççı Neighborhood, our offspring, and our children.”

On the other hand, it was learned that the opening of the Kozlar Theme Park, for which the groundbreaking ceremony was held a few days ago, will take place in the coming days. The park, which is being constructed in cooperation with TOKİ, will consist of an area of 310,000 square meters and will include many structures.
