Domestic Electric Vehicle Introduced at Smart Transportation Systems Summit: MANGO CAR

At the 4th International Smart Transportation Systems Summit held in Ankara, the ‘MANGO CAR,’ a 100% locally produced electric mini car, was introduced, visited by Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.

Safe Journey with Traffic Control Center Software

MANGO CAR offers drivers a safe and comfortable journey experience thanks to the special ‘Traffic Control Center’ software installed in the vehicle. This software enables the vehicle to communicate with the traffic management center and provide various information to the drivers.

ISSD Company and Local Production

Berkcan Oğuz, Deputy General Manager of the ISSD Company producing MANGO CAR, emphasized that the vehicle is entirely produced locally, and the software inside the vehicle is also developed by the company. This software, unlike its counterparts worldwide, has the ability to communicate with the traffic management center.

Berkcan Oğuz: ‘The vehicle is a product manufactured by us. Additionally, the software inside the vehicle is also developed by us. This software has the capability to communicate with the traffic management center.’

Innovative Applications and Features

According to Oğuz, the software inside MANGO CAR is a first in Turkey. It informs drivers about approaching intersection lights and traffic conditions, provides speed recommendations, and updates information in real-time, such as charging stations and available parking spots.

Berkcan Oğuz: ‘As the system knows how many seconds until the green light at intersections, it suggests a speed to you. It provides speed recommendations to prevent vehicles from stopping at red lights. Charging stations, parking spots, all this information is stored in our system and updated in real-time. You can find out where there is a parking spot or an available charging station.’
