Construction has begun on the new service buildings of the Erzincan Provincial Police Department

ERZİNCAN (IHA) – Construction has begun on new service buildings, including the Provincial Police Headquarters Main Service Building, the Riot Police Branch Service Building, the Special Operations Branch Service Building, and the Police Center Chief Service Building, which were tendered by the Erzincan Provincial Special Administration on March 22, 2024, and whose foundations have started to be laid.

In a statement made by the Erzincan Police Department regarding the matter, it was stated, “The new service buildings stand out with their modern design and functionality, and with their technology-compatible equipment and spacious working areas, they will enable our Police Organization to provide more effective and faster service. The new Police Headquarters Service Building: It will be constructed next to the Hilton Hotel in the İzzetpaşa neighborhood, consisting of 4 blocks, covering an area of 32,050.44 square meters with a construction area of 17,864 square meters, and the foundation excavation has been completed.

The Special Operations and Riot Police Branches Campus: It will be built next to the Regional Traffic Inspection Branch in the Yalnızbağ neighborhood, consisting of 2 blocks, covering an area of 17,761 square meters with a construction area of 5,466 square meters, which includes a basketball court and a synthetic turf field to enhance personnel’s physical activity and motivation.

Police Center Chief: It will be a 2-story single building to be constructed on Menderes Street in the İnönü neighborhood, covering a plot of 4,119.36 square meters with a building footprint of 215.32 square meters.”

Erzincan Police Chief Kenan Kurt stated, “I hope that the new Provincial Police Headquarters, Police Center Chief, and additional service buildings, as well as the sports facilities, will bring good fortune to our organization, especially to our Erzincan province.”
