The trainees who completed the Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program received their certificates

Certificates were presented to the trainees who successfully completed the Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program conducted by the Ankara Development Agency.

Dr. Duhan Kalkan, Secretary General of the Ankara Development Agency, visited the ASO Continuing Education Center (ASO-SEM) to gather information about the ongoing 5th Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program.

The General Directorate of Development Agencies had designated the theme for 2024 as ‘Women’s Entrepreneurship and Women’s Employment.’ In this context, theoretical and practical training programs prepared as a result of meetings with firms in the industrial sector in Ankara, focusing on employment, are being carried out in collaboration with the Ankara Development Agency and ASO Continuing Education Center ASO-SEM, with a focus on women’s employment through the guaranteed employment “Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program.”

Duhan Kalkan, Secretary General of the Ankara Development Agency, emphasized the importance of youth and women’s employment, stating that the agency will continue to support activities that add value to the region in line with the goals of the General Directorate of Development Agencies. Kalkan expressed that touching human lives and creating employment is one of the agency’s primary goals, and through the training provided in areas such as CNC Machine Operation, Electromechanical Maintenance and Assembly Expertise, Welding Technology Expertise, Sewing Machine Operation, Industrial Automation and Technology Maintenance and Repair Expertise, CMM Expertise, and GES Maintenance and Repair Expertise, they aim to increase the participation of youth and women in the workforce.

At the event where conversations about the program were held with the trainees, the trainees shared the knowledge and experiences they gained during the training process. Certificates were presented to the trainees who successfully completed the program by Dr. Duhan Kalkan, Secretary General of the Ankara Development Agency. Kalkan stated, “Our youth and women are the most important elements that will shape the future of our country. Ensuring their participation in the workforce is of great importance for both our economic development and our social welfare.”
