In the statement made by the 13th Region Meteorology Directorate, it was stated, “On Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the morning around Elazığ, thunderstorm rains expected are predicted to intensify from noon intermittently and locally strong. Precautions should be taken against the possible risks of flash floods, flooding, lightning, landslides, disruptions in transportation, local hail, and strong winds.”
