The traditional “Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival,” which will be held for the 10th time this year, will take place on August 5-6. Famous Turkish models Demet Şener, Wilma Elles, Sezgi Sena Akay, and 50 local and international models will showcase their talents in the fashion recital.
Animation shows, fashion shows, and surprise events will be part of the festival, which was introduced at a press conference held at a hotel in Laleli. The event, themed “Laleli is Fashion,” will feature over 50 companies. Additionally, buying delegations from Eastern Bloc countries, Turkish Republics, Africa, and Europe will meet with Turkish textile manufacturers.
Famous models from Turkey will display new season textile products at the fashion show. The festival is expected to significantly contribute to Turkey’s exports, featuring a fashion recital with well-known models Demet Şener, Wilma Elles, Sezgi Sena Akay, and 50 local and international models. The fashion trends for 2024-2025 will be presented at the Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival.
Speaking at the festival’s promotional meeting, LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyüpkoca stated, “Our goal is to increase our trade volume, create a ‘Brand Laleli’ associated with fashion, expand our market and customer base, showcase our innovation in products and services, enhance our potential in domestic and foreign markets, and protect ourselves against periodic risks. Additionally, we aim to showcase the significant transformation we have undergone, reflect our unity, solidarity, and integrity, and loudly announce the voice of Laleli to the world, which is why we are organizing the 10th Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival. The festival will host wholesalers in both domestic and foreign markets, providing discount opportunities, as well as various events for guests from Eastern Bloc countries, Turkish Republics, Africa, and Europe, alongside Turkish textile producers. Laleli, which serves the wholesale and retail textile sector, continues to support the national economy. With the opening of the season, our region will unite as one, hearts will beat for Laleli, and we must support this festival that tells our story and inspires hope for our future. As the entire community of Laleli, we aim to once again demonstrate our unity and integrity.”
Eyüpkoca also provided information about the festival program, stating, “First, there will be visits to the commercial stands during the day, and then in the evening, we will have our fashion show opening with visual shows. Our guests can expect a very colorful festival. We are happy to be part of this organization, which will bring movement to our country in many areas. It is very important that this festival contributes to alleviating the economic hardships affecting the whole world and provides morale to everyone.”
