Finike Municipality organized an event called “Bring Your Jar” at the Umut Workshop to both entertain and educate children during the mid-term break. The event, which lasted three days and involved over 800 children aged 5 to 13, included activities such as making pencil holders, snow globes, and piggy banks to enhance children’s imagination and manual skills.
Great Interest from Children
Children, guided by instructors and driven by their own imagination, designed their own pencil holders, snow globes, and piggy banks, creating fun moments. While enjoying the production process, the little ones had the opportunity to socialize with their peers, developing their artistic skills. The items created during the event reflected the children’s imaginative world and ensured that participants had enjoyable moments. The children made the most of their time during the holidays, having an unforgettable experience while having fun.
Our Activities for Our Children Will Continue to Increase
Mayor Mustafa Geyikçi, who visited the children at the Umut Workshop, participated in the production process and activities. Emphasizing the importance of spending time with children, Mayor Geyikçi stated, “Creating smiles on our children’s faces is very precious to us; their happiness and energy are our hope. It is our duty to create an environment where our children, who are the assurance of our future, can develop themselves and learn while having fun. It is very valuable to see our children happy in the Umut Workshop we have activated in this direction. We want our children in our district to live with peace and happiness and to succeed in all areas of life. For this reason, we, as Finike Municipality, will continue to support our children more and more every day.”
