An ‘Academic Collaboration Protocol’ has been signed between Erciyes University (ERÜ) and Karabük University, along with an ‘Institutional Stakeholder Collaboration Protocol’ to be organized by Karabük University as part of the Social Sciences Festival.

A ‘Protocol for Academic Collaboration’ was signed between Erciyes University (ERÜ) and Karabük University, as well as a ‘Protocol for Institutional Stakeholder Collaboration’ to be organized by Karabük University within the scope of the Social Sciences Festival.
The signing ceremony held in the ERÜ Rectorate Meeting Hall was attended by ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, and ERÜ Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan and Prof. Dr. M. Hakan Poyrazoğlu. In his speech at the ceremony, Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırış expressed the desire to increase collaborations with Erciyes University, stating, ‘We want both of our universities to transfer their advanced features to each other and to work together for mutual development. With the signed protocol, we will further enhance our relationships. At the same time, we want to conduct the Social Sciences Festival, which is being organized for the first time in Turkey by Karabük University, in collaboration with Erciyes University. Within this framework, we will carry out collaborations with the signed protocol.’ ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun also expressed his hope that the signed protocol would be beneficial, emphasizing the importance of working together with other universities. Rector Prof. Dr. Altun stated, ‘When our universities act together in unity, much more effective work is produced. As institutions of the Higher Education Council, we desire to come together and act collectively. It will be a beautiful collaboration for our University to be involved in the collaborative processes initiated by Karabük University and to contribute to these processes.’
After the speeches, the cooperation protocol was signed by ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun and Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık. According to the protocol, joint studies will be carried out by both universities within the scope of the Social Sciences Festival (Sosyalfest) and the National Health Sciences Festival (Sağlıkfest) organized by Karabük University.
