Training on ‘neck and back pain’ for metropolitan staff

The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality provided training on ‘neck and back pain’ for the personnel working in its units. The Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, Mücahid Soyak, stated, “Our health is the foundation of our quality of life. I believe that with this training, we will take an important step towards a healthier life.”

Training seminars organized periodically by the Metropolitan Municipality are continuing at full speed. In this context, Op. Dr. İsmail Akdemir held a training session on neck and back pain for the personnel of the Metropolitan Municipality in the Municipal Council Hall. Akdemir provided information about ergonomic arrangements that need to be made to reduce musculoskeletal disorders among office workers. Op. Dr. İsmail Akdemir presented important information on topics such as neck and back pain, loss of cervical curvature, herniated disc, and fibromyalgia in women, men, and children. He explained how health can be preserved through correct posture, exercises, and simple yet effective methods that can be applied in daily life.

In his speech during the program, Deputy Secretary General Mücahid Soyak thanked everyone for their participation, stating, “Thank you very much for your participation. Our training seminars will continue from now on.” In his remarks, Soyak emphasized that ‘Health is at the core of everything,’ asserting, “Our health is the foundation of our quality of life. I believe that with this training, we will take an important step towards a healthier life.” Deputy Secretary General Soyak also thanked the personnel for their strong attendance and wished them ease in their work.

Hospital Director Mustafa Karadeniz noted that they are implementing social responsibility projects in collaboration with the Metropolitan Municipality and shared information about the Turkish Red Crescent.
