Sustainable solutions at every step
The fair will draw attention to the importance of sustainability in agriculture through international conferences and takes on a responsible role at every step of its activities. Engin Er stated that they have implemented a series of approaches within the fair, saying, “We prioritize that our participants’ booths are designed to be environmentally friendly and reusable. We also encourage the use of energy-efficient lighting options and responsible approaches in the use of electrical products. To reduce the use of paper brochures, we have strengthened our presence on digital platforms. When printing is necessary, we recommend using recycled and sustainably certified papers; we also encourage participants to prefer environmentally friendly, durable products sourced from local suppliers for promotional items.”
Er also announced the ‘Let’s Share and Grow Together’ campaign, saying, “This year, we have added a new one to our social responsibility projects. In collaboration with the Foundation for the Education and Protection of Mentally Disabled Children (ZİÇEV) and the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services (Children’s Houses Site Directorate), we have initiated a valuable donation program. We will collect various materials that our participants can donate at the end of the fair in our donation room, contributing to recycling and delivering them to our children.”
