If it weren’t for SAMEK, we would be spending our time at home. Here, we not only establish new friendships but also socialize. We have fun while learning and contribute to our family budget. I thank our municipality for providing us with these opportunities.”
Fatma Nur Coşkun, a housewife who started the sewing course at SAMEK, stated, “I am very pleased. Besides learning technical knowledge, I have also become socially active. They especially facilitate our housewives to express themselves and help them stay away from stress. You socialize, make friends, and have a good time here. I have been participating in the courses at SAMEK for years. I learned to sew. I can sew for myself, my children, and even for outside. Thus, we find the opportunity to contribute to the household economy.”
