The 14th library, İsmail Hakkı Tonguç Donation and Poetry Library, established by Osmangazi Municipality, along with the Youth Cafe, will be opened to the public on Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 PM.
Aiming to instill a reading habit in every segment of society, Osmangazi Municipality has created libraries at many locations in the district, and now opens the doors of the latest library, İsmail Hakkı Tonguç Donation and Poetry Library, to book lovers. The library, which will be opened on Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 PM, will provide a comfortable environment for those who want to study, read, and conduct research. The library has a capacity of 9,000 books, and its shelves include books that cater to all readers.
Located within the same building, the Youth Cafe will be a pleasant break spot for young people with its quality and affordable coffees, as well as delicious snacks. Book lovers from Osmangazi will enjoy sipping their coffees while benefiting from the library’s rich book collection.
The book donation campaign continues
The book donation campaign initiated by Osmangazi Municipality to increase the variety of books in the library is ongoing. Those who wish to participate in the book donation campaign titled ‘Let Your Books Share in Hopes’ can deliver their books to the Hasan Ali Yücel World Classics Library, Emek Library, Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum Library, Demirtaş Cultural Center Library, Hüdavendigar Library, and İsmail Hakkı Tonguç Donation and Poetry Library on days other than Sunday and Monday, when the libraries are closed, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
