The Sustainability Meetings with Brands – INDITEX event took place on November 12, 2024, Tuesday, at the GAİB Service Building.
During the meeting where participants were informed about INDITEX’s sustainability and social compliance policies, a comprehensive perspective on the transformation processes in the field of sustainability was presented.
The event started with opening speeches by TİM Vice President and GAİB Coordinator President Fikret Kileci. Kileci stated, “Sustainability is a phenomenon that requires profound changes and transformations in all sectors with its environmental, economic, and social aspects. In this sense, sustainable development and social responsibility are now at the center of business practices in our country, just as they are around the world. As GATHİB, we are continuously trying to create new opportunities for the industrialists and entrepreneurs in our region to adapt to this transformation and increase global competitiveness. I believe that by benefiting from the experiences of a global leader like INDITEX today, we will enhance our knowledge in this field and develop solutions to the challenges we face.”
The event continued with speeches from representatives of the INDITEX Group; INDITEX Sustainable Country Manager Yasemin Mağden Gürek provided information about the expectations and goals of INDITEX in its sustainability journey.
