DENIZLI (IHA) – The “Respect for Atatürk” themed outdoor exhibition organized by Pamukkale Public Education Center in Denizli due to the Atatürk Commemoration Week received great appreciation. It commemorates the 86th anniversary of the death of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

DENIZLI (IHA) – The open-air exhibition themed “Respect for Atatürk” organized by Pamukkale Public Education Center in Denizli, on the occasion of the Atatürk Memorial Week, received great appreciation.
The commemoration events for the 86th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk continue in Denizli with various programs. Within the scope of Atatürk Memorial Week, a painting exhibition titled “Respect for Atatürk” was held by the Pamukkale Public Education Center. The opening of the exhibition, which took place in the 15 July Martyrs’ Square in front of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, was attended by Uğur Çizmecioğlu, the Deputy Mayor of Pamukkale, Cengiz Sarıca, the Director of Pamukkale Public Education Center, and master instructors. The administrative staff and master instructors of the Public Education Center performed the opening of the exhibition.
Citizens visiting the exhibition, featuring paintings of Atatürk created by public education trainees using different techniques, experienced a mix of sadness and happiness. In the exhibition, which displayed 53 works, various painting techniques were utilized, while the portrait of Atatürk made using the pointillism technique in pencil was the center of attention. The exhibition, held in the busiest part of the city, evoked emotional moments among Denizli residents of all ages, ranging from 7 to 70, as it presented glimpses from Atatürk’s life.
In his opening speech, President Çizmecioğlu stated, “We are in the sadness of the 86th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I remember Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Commander-in-Chief of the War of Independence, with respect, gratitude, and longing on the 86th anniversary of his eternal departure. On this meaningful day organized by the Pamukkale Public Education Center, we had the opportunity to once again express our longing, respect, and gratitude to our Father. I thank everyone who contributed to the preparation of these valuable and meaningful works and to the exhibition.”

Pamukkale Public Education Center Director Cengiz Sarıca stated that they would never forget Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. Sarıca said, “The leader of the liberation struggle, the unique hero Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, will always live in the hearts of our nation, and the comrades-in-arms with whom he fought shoulder to shoulder, as well as the heroic martyrs and veterans of our independence struggle, will never be forgotten. With these feelings and thoughts, I remember Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, and all the heroes of our independence struggle, our esteemed martyrs and veterans with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation. In this context, we wanted to express our respect, love, and gratitude to the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as the Pamukkale Public Education Center family with the works prepared by our valuable master instructors. We presented the works prepared by our trainers and trainees to the appreciation of the people of Denizli. I thank all our staff and trainers who supported us on this meaningful day.”
