The financial budget of Keçiören Municipality for the year 2025 was unanimously approved at the November Council Meeting of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB). Accordingly, the municipality’s budget will be 5 billion 550 million lira.

The budget includes many details aimed at the development of Keçiören, from infrastructure and superstructure projects to social services, from environmentally friendly projects to sustainable development efforts. Keçiören Mayor Dr. Mesut Özarslan stated that with the prepared budget, they will increase the quality of life of the people in Keçiören with a transparent management approach, saying, “We firmly believe that the projects we will realize together will enhance the quality of life of the people of Keçiören and add value to the future of our district,” and wished that the budget would be beneficial and auspicious for Keçiören.

After the acceptance of the budget, Keçiören Mayor Dr. Mesut Özarslan emphasized in his speech that the budget would be used efficiently and effectively, stating, “Keçiören is the second largest district of Ankara and the fourth largest in Turkey, both in terms of population and size. We are working with great dedication to increase the welfare level of our citizens in every neighborhood of Keçiören, to ease their daily lives, and to make our district more livable. In this direction, our prepared budget encompasses not only physical investments but also our education, culture, health, environment, and employment projects, which we prioritize in terms of social municipalism.”
