President Gürhan Albayrak: “This does not suit Eskişehir, when will this suffering end?”
The Chairman of the AK Party Eskişehir Province, Gürhan Albayrak, expressed his concerns regarding the confusion that arose after a certain section of Asarcıklı Street was closed to traffic due to a decision made by the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) in recent days.
AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak criticized the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality due to the confusion caused by the recent decision made by the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) to close a certain section of Asarcıklı Street to traffic.
During his visit to local tradesmen and listening to their demands, Chairman Albayrak emphasized that the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality needs to fulfill its responsibilities properly. In his statement regarding the issues on Asarcıklı Street, Chairman Albayrak said, “We are faced with a construction site that has been a source of suffering for years in the heart of Eskişehir. There is neither proper supervision in one of the most central points of this city, nor any arrangement to avoid inconveniencing our citizens. The roads are congested, there are no directional signs, pedestrians cannot walk, vehicles cannot pass, and customers cannot reach the tradesmen. Consequently, the tradesmen are in trouble, and the patience of the citizens has run out. In this area, which resembles a scene from a third-world country, the people of Eskişehir do not deserve such suffering.”
“We believe that Eskişehir deserves more to be a modern, livable city”
Pointing out that it is the duty of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality to organize this area for the benefit of the public and to add an aesthetic that befits the city, Chairman Albayrak continued, “On behalf of our fellow citizens, we ask, when will this suffering end? The citizens of Eskişehir expect a responsible administration and quick solutions. As the AK Party, we will continue to stand by our citizens and voice their problems loudly. We believe that Eskişehir deserves more to be a modern, livable city.”
