President Büyüksimitci attended the CACCI Conference held in Singapore.

Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KAYSO), represented TOBB at the 38th Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry held in Singapore on November 11-12, 2024.

Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Chairman of the Kayseri Chamber of Industry (KAYSO), represented TOBB at the 38th Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Conference held in Singapore on November 11-12, 2024.

During the conference, at the 98th CACCI Board Meeting chaired by CACCI President Peter McMullin, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was re-elected as the Vice President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) for the years 2025-2026, a position he has held since 2014.

Chairman Büyüksimitci met with Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office of Singapore, to provide information about the Turkish private sector and Turkey’s investment environment. He also held a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Singapore, Mehmet Burçin Gönenli, discussing Turkey-Singapore commercial and economic relations.

As part of the ‘Women Entrepreneurs Awards’ organized by CACCI, Dr. Aslı Elif Tanuğur Samancı, Co-Founder/CEO of BEE’O Propolis, won the ‘Best Woman Entrepreneur’ award.

The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) was established in 1966 by 10 national chambers of commerce in Taiwan. It includes chamber unions from 28 countries: Australia and Papua New Guinea from the Australian continent; Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, and the Russian Federation from East Asia; Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam from Southeast Asia; Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka from South Asia; and Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey from Central Asia. Its aim is to bring together the business communities of member countries and contribute to the development of the economies of the Asia-Pacific region.
