“Amateur sports are our red line”
Emphasizing that they will make Yunusemre a sports city, Yunusemre Mayor Semih Balaban stated in his speech at the ceremony that amateur sports clubs are a red line for them. Expressing happiness in fulfilling their promise to support amateur sports, Mayor Balaban stated: “We previously said we would turn Yunusemre Belediyespor into a sports club focused entirely on youth, and that we would distribute the funds we allocate fairly among the clubs. We promised to support amateur sports, and we are keeping this promise. By supporting amateur sports clubs and young people, we are combating substance addiction. Amateur sports clubs are the most important key in the fight against substance addiction. We are providing a total cash aid of 1 million 120 thousand TL to amateur sports clubs operating within the borders of Yunusemre district. Last year, the contribution from Yunusemre Municipality was 12 thousand 500 TL. Yunusemre Belediyespor Club is at the service of amateur sports clubs. Yunusemre is changing. We will make Yunusemre a center for sports, culture, art, and science. Everyone living in our district is a value for us and is precious to us. However, amateur sports clubs are our most important red line. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.”
