The water problem of another neighborhood is being solved.

MASKİ General Directorate has started the drinking water booster line work in Yakuplar Neighborhood, which is part of the Turgutlu district. When the work is completed, households will receive drinking water that is more efficient, uninterrupted, and healthier.
Manisa Water and Sewerage Administration (MASKİ) General Directorate continues its intensive efforts to provide citizens with healthier infrastructure systems throughout the province. In this context, the teams of the Drinking Water Department first conducted drilling work due to the insufficiency of the existing well in Yakuplar Neighborhood of Turgutlu district. Then they started the 1,800-meter drinking water booster line work. In the coming days, with the completion of the pipe laying work, more efficient, uninterrupted, and cleaner drinking water will reach Yakuplar Neighborhood. The neighborhood head and local residents expressed their satisfaction with the work.
Osman Akbulut: “We will reach better days”
Neighborhood resident Osman Akbulut said, “During the summer months, our neighborhood was insufficient in drinking water, and thanks to our Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Ferdi Zeyrek, drilling work was done. Now, the pipe laying is being done. God willing, we will reach better days from now on.” Meanwhile, neighborhood resident Mustafa Tosun stated, “We couldn’t find water, there was no water to take a shower. We were bringing water with a jug from the tap. I believe that Ferdi Zeyrek will work very well.”
Tuncay Erbey: “Our water shortage is ending”
Yakuplar Neighborhood Head Tuncay Erbey said: “We experienced water shortages in our neighborhood before. Thank you, our Mayor Ferdi took action on the issue. Our water used to flow at certain hours. But now we have 1 well and 2 wells. We are very happy. I thank Ferdi Mayor on behalf of my neighborhood.”
Hüseyin Yelkenci: “Uninterrupted and healthy drinking water will be provided to 250 households”
MASKİ District Chief Hüseyin Yelkenci stated, “An 1,800 meter booster line is being installed in Yakuplar Neighborhood. To provide healthier water to our neighborhood, the drinking water booster line work covering Temrek, Yakuplar, and İzzettin neighborhoods has started. Our drilled well produces 12 liters of water per second. With the completion of our project, we will provide healthy and uninterrupted drinking water to approximately 250 households.”
