Two innovative projects developed by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, which are among the favorites of the digital world, have reached the finals of the DorukCloud 22nd Golden Spider Awards. Out of a total of 1,156 applications, 244 projects qualified for the finals.

In the DorukCloud 22nd Golden Spider Awards, the finalist projects have been determined. A total of 1,156 projects participated in the competition under main categories such as Website, Mobile Application, and Digital Marketing. With the votes of 51 expert jury members, a total of 244 projects qualified to be finalists in 26 different categories. The finalists will compete with 10 projects in their category to be among the best in the industry.

The ‘Emergency for Manisa’ project, aimed at providing rapid intervention in emergencies, and the ‘Education for Manisa’ project, which brings significant innovations in education, have reached the finals of the prestigious Golden Spider Awards. Public voting has started
Public voting for the finalist projects began on November 8. The voting, which will continue until November 29, 2024, will determine the year’s best projects. The 244 projects competing as finalists in 26 different categories are awaiting the public’s votes to receive their awards. Citizens can vote for the projects they like the most and help elevate them to the top.

The ‘Emergency for Manisa’ application, developed by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, has been made available on Google Play and the App Store to provide rapid and effective intervention in emergencies. The ‘Emergency for Manisa’ application stands out as a digital platform designed for quick responses to emergencies. In the event of a disaster or urgent incident, users can call for help with a single button through the application, and their location information will be automatically shared with the relevant teams. This way, the municipal teams on duty can take action to reach the scene as quickly as possible.

What is the ‘Education for Manisa’ project?
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the ‘Education for Manisa’ project to contribute to the education of young people. Within this scope, live lessons are provided by expert teachers for 8th and 12th-grade students preparing for LGS and YKS, as well as for graduates. Students are offered an interactive lesson environment and the opportunity to ask questions instantly.
