Incirliova Municipality held a meaningful event on the 86th anniversary of the death of the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The “November 10 Atatürk Photo Exhibition” was presented to the public on Sevgi Yolu.
The exhibition featured photographs of Atatürk taken at different times, funeral ceremony images, and newspaper pages from November 10, 1938. It opened for visitors after the commemoration event held in Republic Square at 9:05 AM. Accompanied by Incirliova Mayor Aytekin Kaya, Incirliova District Governor Canan Hançer Baştürk, district protocol, and citizens examined the exhibition with great interest.
Prepared for young people and children
In his statement regarding the exhibition, Mayor Kaya said, “We prepared a beautiful exhibition to remind our citizens, especially our children and young people, of the life and struggle of our great leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the symbol of our nation’s struggle for independence, and to convey his legacy correctly. I invite all our citizens, especially our children who are the guarantee of our bright future, to come and examine our exhibition featuring photographs of Atatürk taken at different times, images from the funeral ceremony, and newspaper pages from November 10, 1938. It has been an exhibition that suits our Incirliova very well.”
