In October 2024, the countries with the highest export value from Erzurum were recorded as Romania, Georgia, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Moldova. For the scale of January – October of this year, the countries with the highest export values were reported as Romania, Georgia, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Libya, Iraq, and Moldova.

According to an assessment made by DOSIAD based on TIM data, the share of the top 7 countries with the highest export values within the total export value of the province for the 10-month period was calculated as follows: Romania 40.62%, Georgia 21.52%, Azerbaijan 7.12%, Iraq 4.79%, Bulgaria 8.21%, Moldova 3.10%, and Libya 5.08%.

Increase in Exports to 19 Countries

During the January – October period, compared to the same period of the previous year, the export values to Bulgaria, the USA, Qatar, Mauritius, Guinea, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Romania, Belarus, Liberia, Georgia, Greece, Kuwait, Serbia, AHL Free Zone, Somalia, Germany, and Azerbaijan recorded an increase.

Rates of Increase

According to DOSIAD analyses, the rates of increase in export values, in percentage, were as follows: Bulgaria 4,406%, USA 1,466%, Qatar 1,253%, Mauritius 1,054%, Guinea 999%, Austria 897%, Kyrgyzstan 686%, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus 593%, Romania 589%, Belarus 425%, Liberia 265%, Georgia 139%, Greece 107%, Kuwait 44%, Serbia 41.7%, AHL Free Zone 38.5%, Somalia 20.8%, Germany 16.6%, and Azerbaijan 5.7%.

Countries with Decreased Export Values

According to the data, during the January – October period of 2024, a decrease was observed in exports to Moldova, Israel, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Russia, UAE, Ghana, Spain, Congo, Syria, France, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkmenistan, Sierra Leone, and Bahrain compared to the same period of the previous year.

The percentage decrease in export values was reported as follows: Moldova 2.0%, Israel 6.2%, Iraq 6.3%, Uzbekistan 15.4%, Russia 29.8%, UAE 34.4%, Ghana 41.0%, Spain 47.6%, Congo 47.6%, Syria 48.1%, France 49%, Tanzania 57%, Saudi Arabia 62.2%, India 64.7%, Turkmenistan 70.2%, Sierra Leone 84.7%, and Bahrain 99.8%.

Exports to 21 Countries in October

In October, exports were made from Erzurum to 21 countries. The highest value export was made to Romania with $1.7 million, followed by Georgia with $1.1 million, Iraq with $330,000, and Azerbaijan with $268,500.

During the period, export values were reported as Moldova $120,170, Libya $117,850, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus $70,950, AHL Free Zone $69,770, Nigeria $57,980, Uzbekistan $48,820, Ghana $47,000, France $40,190, Guinea $31,380, Austria $31,330, Lebanon $28,670, Syria $28,570, Saudi Arabia $20,240, Kuwait $17,920, Liberia $15,000, Somalia $9,240, and the USA $4,860.
