Brotherhood bridge between Kars and Gebze: Joint steps are being taken in trade.
The sister chamber protocol signed between Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO) and Gebze Chamber of Commerce aims to strengthen economic cooperation and solidarity between the two cities. This meaningful protocol not only offers new opportunities for the business world of both Kars and Gebze but also aims to contribute to the commercial and social development of the two regions. After the signing ceremony of the protocol, the council members of the two chambers held a joint meeting and exchanged views.
KTSO Board Chairman Kadir Bozan emphasized the importance of the strong bond established between the two chambers.
Bozan stated, “The signature we put today will not remain just on paper; it will serve as a bridge for the business worlds of Kars and Gebze to come together with concrete steps. We aim to increase commercial opportunities for our members and strengthen sectoral collaborations. This protocol will also help us to make Kars’s local values more visible on national and international platforms.”
Gebze Chamber of Commerce President Abdurrahman Arslan said that the brotherhood established between Kars and Gebze would be an important support in achieving long-term goals. Arslan remarked, “This brotherhood with Kars represents not only a collaboration but also a great solidarity in cultural and economic terms. We aim to create new markets and collaboration opportunities for our members, as well as contribute to sustainable development through joint projects. As Gebze, we will have the opportunity to get to know Kars’s cultural richness and commercial potential more closely.”
During the meeting, representatives of the two chambers exchanged ideas on sectoral collaborations, investment opportunities, export potentials, and establishing a strong communication network among members. Additionally, plans were made to promote Kars’s rich cultural heritage to enhance tourism potential and to develop new projects together with Gebze.
It was expressed that this important collaboration would reach a wider audience for the values that Kars possesses and would contribute to the solid steps forward in the commercial relations of the two cities.
