A new football field with a capacity of 245 spectators has been established in Manisa.

A football field with a capacity of 245 spectators and a synthetic turf field built by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Karaağaçlı neighborhood of the Şehzadeler district in Manisa was opened to service with a ceremony.
The opening of the football field and the synthetic turf field with a capacity of 245 spectators built by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Karaağaçlı neighborhood of the Şehzadeler district of Manisa was held. The ceremony was attended by former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Bülent Arınç, Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan, AK Party MKYK Member and Manisa Deputy Ahmet Mücahit Arınç, Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General İlhan Şen, Manisa Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yunus Öztürk, institutional directors, sports club presidents, citizens, and athletes.
In his speech at the ceremony, former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Bülent Arınç wished the facility to be beneficial and thanked those who contributed. In his speech, Arınç stated, “This is a significant investment. I believe our youth will benefit from these areas through football, basketball, and athletics. I am very happy. Karaağaçlı has gained a beautiful facility.”
Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan emphasized that an important football facility has been provided to the Karaağaçlı neighborhood and said, “We thank our state, our government, and our ministry for providing this facility to our city. I believe that the services for connecting our youth with sports will continue to increase.”
AK Party MKYK Member and Manisa Deputy Ahmet Mücahit Arınç also expressed in his speech, “Our state has put a lot of effort and support into sports, athletes, and new generations. Today, we are happy to have brought this sparkling neighborhood stadium to Karaağaçlı. We will continue to invest in Manisa.”
Manisa Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yunus Öztürk stated that with the contributions of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, they have provided 24 neighborhood football fields in 17 districts of Manisa in the last 6-7 years, saying, “There is no district in our province that lacks a swimming pool or sports hall. By building 217 synthetic turf fields, 118 basketball and volleyball courts throughout Manisa, most of these fields have been constructed in schoolyards and are available for our children. Additionally, we have provided 30 tennis courts and modern athletics tracks. Thanks to these modern facilities brought to our Manisa by our Ministry of Youth and Sports, Manisa has now reached the capacity to host national and international championships. With these facilities, we are connecting thousands of our children and youth to sports. I would like to thank our Minister Osman Aşkın Bak for providing these valuable facilities to the youth and people of Manisa, our former Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, and our esteemed senior Bülent Arınç, who did not spare their support in all investments made in our Manisa, followed up on the requests, and ensured the realization of these investments, our Manisa Governor, Manisa Deputies, and everyone who contributed.”
