The Sinop Promotion Days were held with enthusiasm in Arnavutköy.

With the contributions of Arnavutköy Municipality, the Sinop Promotion Days organized in coordination with the Arnavutköy Sinop Businessmen’s Association were held with great enthusiasm at Arnavutköy City Park. The Koliva concert marked the event, and citizens enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

The Sinop Promotion Days, organized with the support of Arnavutköy Municipality, took place at Arnavutköy City Park with a large turnout from the public. The event showcased the cultural riches, local flavors, and traditional handicrafts of Sinop, allowing the people of Arnavutköy to experience an unforgettable weekend. The program, filled with stands displaying local products, unique flavors from the Sinop cuisine, and folk dance performances, brought together both the people of Sinop and visitors eager to learn about Sinop culture. The opening was attended by Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu, Arnavutköy District Governor Mahmut Hersanlıoğlu, Sinop MP Nazım Maviş, AK Party Arnavutköy District Chairman Gökhan Gürek, and many citizens. Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu treated citizens to free fish sandwiches at the event. Protocol members toured the stands to examine Sinop’s local products and chatted with the citizens attending the event.

“We will continue to strengthen our cultural ties”

Speaking at the event, Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu said, “I welcome all our fellow citizens. We are having a day where we can fully experience both our culture and gastronomy. This week, we are holding the 7th edition of our hometown days. We thank our fellow citizens for their support since the very first day. Our area is packed, and next week, we will also have the Malatyalılar Days; our hometown days will continue to take place in this area every week.”

Ismet Çetinkaya, President of the Sinop Businessmen’s Association (SESİBİR), who organized the program, stated, “Firstly, I would like to thank all our fellow citizens who came to this area and did not leave us alone. This event is truly something all Sinop residents can long for. Our area is very crowded, and our event will continue until 23:00 on Sunday evening. It was very proud to host national artists like Koliva among our local artists. It is possible to find everything from Sinop’s mantı to many local dishes here.
