As part of the congress process, AK Party Malatya Provincial President Namık Gören, who came together with party members, stated, “The postponement of our 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress to a later date is by no means a cancellation; rather, it is a reflection of our President’s heartfelt desire to embrace Malatya despite his busy schedule. We believe that this delay will make that meeting stronger, more meaningful, and more enthusiastic.”
Gören made statements regarding the congress process during the “Common Sense Delegate Consultation Meeting” where he met with party members.
Speaking at the event attended by many party members, Gören emphasized that the postponed congress is not a cancellation, saying, “As our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has expressed, Malatya has always held a very special place for us. Our President expresses his love and commitment to you at every opportunity; we feel the affection he has for each individual in Malatya from the bottom of our hearts. In this sense, the postponement of our 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress to a later date is by no means a cancellation; rather, it is a reflection of our President’s heartfelt desire to embrace Malatya despite his busy schedule. We believe that this delay will make that meeting stronger, more meaningful, and more enthusiastic.”
“Each of us has a responsibility.”
Gören noted that the upcoming AK Party Malatya Provincial Congress will not just be a meeting, stating, “During this process, our most important task is to further amplify our sincere efforts for Malatya and to work day and night for the development of Malatya. Together with our delegates, our organization, and all the people of Malatya, our love for our homeland lies at the deepest part of our hearts in every effort we put forward for the development of Malatya. Each of us has a responsibility to preserve the culture and values of this land and to leave the best legacy for future generations. Our congress, which will be held with the participation of our President, will not only be a meeting but also a gathering of love, affection, and unity. When that day comes, we will gather with our brothers and sisters from every corner of Malatya, share our projects with our President, hold our openings, and take enthusiastic steps that will add value to our Malatya. I want to express with peace of mind that your support and faith give us strength in building the future of Malatya. We continue to work with the same excitement and passion as on the first day for this city, our nation, and the ideal of a great and powerful Turkey. Our belief is strong, our efforts are limitless, and our love is great.”
