‘Erzincan Promotion Days’ attracts great interest from citizens.

In Istanbul, the Erzincan Promotion Days, which showcase the cultural riches of Erzincan and are being held for the 7th time this year, continue to attract great interest on its second day.

The Erzincan Promotion Days, highlighting the cultural wealth of Erzincan, are continuing with the intense interest of visitors. The event, which will last until Sunday, November 10, was attended by Erzincan Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza Aydoğdu, the Chairman of the Elders Committee of the Turkish States Organization (TDT) Binali Yıldırım, and Istanbul Governor Davut Gül. At the event, local flavors and handmade products unique to Erzincan were showcased, including Erzincan’s famous tulum cheese, honey, sausage, and butters. Visitors attending the event, organized under the slogan ‘The City of Hearts Erzincan Comes to Istanbul,’ showed great interest not only in local delicacies but also in handicrafts.

Speaking at the event, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül stated, “We try to participate in such events as much as possible. The unity among Erzincan people contributes not only to themselves but also to our country. May God keep it alive.”

Erzincan Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza Aydoğdu, who was among the visitors, said, “We are here for Erzincan Day at Yenikapı. All our fellow citizens are here. It is important for us that people are here. They are reliving the taste, smell, and memories of Erzincan. I thank everyone who contributed. Hopefully, in the future, we will hold even more beautiful Erzincan days. It is a city that has grasped brotherhood, beauty, and goodness not just in words but as a way of life.”

Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Elders Committee of the Turkish States Organization, stated, “We visited the stalls of our fellow citizens who showcase their products and talents here. There is tremendous interest. In fact, the population of Erzincan living abroad is double the number of Erzincan residents here, coming together to alleviate their longing during these promotional and cultural gatherings. It is about seeing closely the tulum cheese, butter, and various flavors they tasted in their childhood and youth. The most important aspect is that our fellow citizens are mingling, coming together, and becoming brothers here. We are not all the same. Some have different eye colors, some have different hair colors, and some have different skin tones, but there is one thing that is not different: the color of the drops that fall from our eyes is always the same. That’s why we have unity, that’s why we have togetherness, that’s why we have brotherhood.”
