In the 17th minute, in a deep pass by Mijnans into the penalty area, Addai tried to intervene as Parrot redirected the ball in front of the goal, but Mert Müldür put his foot in and the referee blew the whistle for a foul in favor of Fenerbahçe.

In the 19th minute, from a cross by Osayi Samuel, Edin Dzeko made a header in the penalty area, but goalkeeper Owusu-Oduro deflected the ball to a corner.

In the 27th minute, Fred sent a ball from the midfield behind the defense, leaving Edin Dzeko one-on-one with the goalkeeper. After Dzeko’s shot with his left foot, the defense cleared the ball that was heading for the goal following the goalkeeper’s intervention.
