Prizes were awarded to the contestants who ranked in Turkey’s first HEALTH FEST.

The Health Sciences Festival (SAĞLIKFEST), organized by Karabük University to develop innovative approaches in the health field, has concluded.
Karabük University hosted many activities with SAĞLIKFEST, including health model design competitions that include innovative and problem-solving focused approaches, as well as interviews and events held on various topics. The two-day SAĞLIKFEST ended with a closing ceremony and an award ceremony. The program, held at the 15 July Martyrs Conference Hall, was attended by Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, vice rectors, academics, political party representatives, and students.
The ceremony began with the promotional film of SAĞLIKFEST, after which awards were presented by protocol members to the winners in 8 competitions across high school, associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, and open categories. KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık stated that they successfully held Turkey’s first Health Sciences Festival.
Kırışık expressed that there was a high level of participation in the festival, saying, “We had a significant participation from our students, the public, our professors from different universities, our students, and citizens from high schools across Turkey. In this sense, we see that we have organized a very successful event that makes us quite happy.”
Stating that they opened 8 competition titles in four categories in terms of projects, Kırışık said, “We received very beautiful, very successful, high-level projects in these titles. In this sense, we see that important projects have been presented in the field to solve and innovatively develop the problems in the health sciences area. Our juries had a tough time. Many beautiful projects came in. As Karabük University, we will continue to pioneer organizing very beneficial and useful events for our country, nation, and state for the first time, developing science in every field of society, commerce, and industry, creating areas for expansion and implementation.”
