Two projects aimed at raising awareness were signed in İlkadım.

In the İlkadım district of Samsun, projects named “Just Ask, Enough, Cancer Will Go Away” and “Smile with Us to Life” are being implemented with the collaboration of institutions.
The projects “Just Ask, Enough, Cancer Will Go Away” and “Smile with Us to Life” are coming to life with a protocol signing ceremony attended by İlkadım District Governor Abdulkadir Demir, İlkadım Mayor İhsan Kurnaz, İlkadım District Health Director Dr. Mustafa Kasapoğlu, İlkadım District National Education Director Özer Ersoy, Chief Physician of the Oral and Dental Health Hospital Dt. Cihan Kocabaş, Public Health Director Dr. Hatice Öz, and devoted doctors, teachers, and parents. The two projects aim to raise awareness, particularly targeting primary and middle school students to raise healthy youth.

Two separate ideas for two exemplary projects
The projects “Just Ask, Enough, Cancer Will Go Away” and “Smile with Us to Life” were signed in different ceremonies and showcase the importance of unity and solidarity among local governments, while also marking the beginning of many planned projects. In this context, the “Just Ask, Enough, Cancer Will Go Away” project is designed to raise awareness among middle school students about cancer and to direct their families to health institutions on this matter. It was launched with a ceremony held at 23 April Middle School, followed by the project “Smile with Us to Life,” which will provide free dental health examinations and treatments for 300 special needs primary school students across İlkadım, announced at a ceremony at 50th Year Primary School.

“Healthy youth are successful individuals”
After the protocol signing ceremonies, İlkadım Mayor İhsan Kurnaz stated, “We know that one of the most important factors in raising successful individuals is to nurture healthy children and youth. These two projects will also be the beginning of many other projects. We will continue to support exemplary social projects to carry our İlkadım district towards a beautiful future. We are carrying out many works harmoniously with institutions affiliated with the central administration. We have achieved significant harmony in this regard in İlkadım. These projects, brought to life under the leadership of our District Governor Abdulkadir Demir, not only set an example but also strengthen our emotional bond with all our citizens, starting from our little children. As İlkadım Municipality, we will continue to participate in these projects with great joy, both materially and spiritually. To encourage our children, we plan to distribute many gifts to our students. I would like to thank all participants, especially our parents, who took the initiative and partnership in these important projects.”
