Samsun’s Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı provided information about educational projects in an interview with students.

Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that they will continue to support students with new educational projects. In an interview conducted with the students of Canik Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School regarding educational activities, Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı said, “We will continue to work and produce for our students with our title of ‘Education-friendly municipality.'”

The excitement of the students conducting the interview brought smiles to the faces of those watching, while Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı listened to the students’ requests and suggestions after the interview.

Scholarships for University Students
Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı expressed that they provide scholarship support to all students who are enrolling in university for the first time in Canik, saying, “We continue to stand by our students with projects that touch education and educational life. As part of our scholarship support, which has become traditional in our district, we also provided scholarship support to all students who are enrolling in university for the first time in Canik this year.”

Emphasizing that they cover all electricity, water, and natural gas bills as well as exam fees for university students in Canik, Sandıkçı stated that they are actively working on new projects aimed at university students.

Bags and Stationery Sets for All Students
Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı expressed that they gift bags and stationery sets to all students starting the first grade of primary school in Canik, saying, “We continued our bag and stationery set support, which we have made a tradition in Canik, this year as well. As Canik Municipality, we gift bags and stationery sets to all students starting the first grade of primary school in our district every year. We delivered our bags and stationery sets, which include auxiliary educational materials, a nutrition bag, and a water bottle, containing everything from A to Z, to our students at their desks.”

Canik Mind and Intelligence Games Classes
Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı announced that they have implemented Canik Mind and Intelligence Games Classes in the schools of Canik, saying, “With our Canik Mind and Intelligence Games Classes, we introduce our students to historical mind, intelligence, and strategy games. We contribute to the cognitive development processes of our students with these historical mind, intelligence, and strategy games. We ensure that our students strengthen their cognitive characteristics such as understanding, comprehending, and interpreting what they see.”

Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı also provided information to students about the education related to science and technology that they continue at Canik Özdemir Bayraktar Exploration Campus, and after addressing their questions, listened to the students’ requests and suggestions.
