The Zoning teams of the Malatya Metropolitan Municipality and the Provincial Directorate of Commerce continue their inspections in supermarkets without slowing down. During the inspections, while comparing the labeled prices of products with the prices charged at the cash register, they meticulously check legal regulations such as product weights, expiration dates, and compliance with delivery notes.
Price labels and expiration dates are being checked
The Zoning teams add various products to shopping carts and head to the cash register to compare the labeled prices with the prices paid at the register. Products without price labels are also checked, preventing consumers from being misled. Expiration dates of food and fast-moving consumer goods are particularly scrutinized, thereby preventing the sale of products that pose health risks.
Legal action is initiated in case of irregularities
