Eskinazi: “Exporters support the OVP.”

Jak Eskinazi, the Coordinator President of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, pointed out that reaching export targets is essential for Turkey to succeed in its medium-term stability program. He noted that Turkey’s export performance in October supported the OVP.

Stating that “we could have presented a more successful picture in exports,” Eskinazi added, “The Turkish exporter has presented a successful picture in exports during a period of recession in global markets. As members of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, we exceeded the Turkish average. The interest rate reduction decisions to be taken in the United States, the European Union, and our country in 2025 will positively contribute to Turkish exporters’ access to financing. We believe that a more favorable climate for our exporters will emerge globally in the second half of 2025. We will work with all our might to reach the export target of 279.6 billion dollars set for 2025 in the OVP. We must keep our ships afloat.”
