Bayraktar also addressed the prices for producers, stating, “In October, there were price increases for 18 of 28 products at the producer level, while 7 products saw a price decrease. Prices remained unchanged for 3 products. The highest price decrease for producers was seen in potatoes with a decline of 23.4%. Bayraktar also touched on the price changes for producers, saying, “Changes in supply and demand have led to a decrease in egg prices. Due to climate change, the early maturing early and mid-early lemon varieties are being harvested in the same seasons, which has resulted in increased supply and decreased demand, leading to lower prices. The prices of potatoes have decreased due to the high yield and lack of demand at the moment. The transition from field to greenhouse for cucumbers, zucchini, bell pepper, and tomatoes has increased producer prices.”
