The ‘Erciyes’ breeze at the London Snow Show

Erciyes, which is a pioneer in promoting Turkey’s winter tourism presence to the world, was introduced at the London Snow Show International Tourism Fair, one of the most important tourism fairs globally held in England.

Erciyes, the only ski resort representing our country in England, met with winter sports enthusiasts from all around the world at the London Snow Show fair.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. had taken its first steps into the English market last year at the world’s largest international tourism fair, WTM London. This initiative continued this year with the Ski Turkish team at the London Snow Show fair.

Ski Turkish, representing Erciyes in the capital of England, London, held business meetings with agents and professionals offering special ski tours at this fair, which featured renowned ski resorts from around the world.

At this fair, where winter sports enthusiasts gathered, a virtual reality (VR) presentation was used to provide visitors with a skiing experience to promote Erciyes’s unique slopes, and the facilities of the ski resort were explained in detail. The Erciyes stand attracted significant interest from participants, and the breadth and diversity of Turkey’s winter sports opportunities were met with appreciation.

Meanwhile, famous British skier Dan Egan, who came to Turkey to ski 40 years ago, will be shooting a documentary in Erciyes to renew his past documentary. This project aims to showcase the historical and cultural richness of Erciyes once again.

World-renowned skier Dominique Perret will also come to Turkey next season to provide off-piste and avalanche training in Erciyes.

Thanks to the efforts carried out last year, Kayseri Erciyes will start hosting British skiers in the 2024-2025 winter season. With this year’s promotional activities, Erciyes aims to further increase the number of British tourists next year.
