Gıyasettin Bingöl Lifetime Education Award

Gıyasettin Bingöl, an educator who has made a difference with the educational institutions he has implemented from kindergarten to university in Bursa, was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Education Award at the 11th Success Awards in Education organized by Artı Eğitim Dergisi, a leading publication in the sector.
The 11th Success Awards in Education, organized by Artı Eğitim Dergisi, took place in a ceremony held at the Istanbul Sheraton Grand Ataşehir. Awards were presented to institutions and administrators in 17 categories during the night attended by the Ministry of Education (MEB), sector associations, founders, managers, teachers, and education suppliers. The award ceremony, which began with opening speeches by Fethullah Güner, General Director of Private Education Institutions of MEB, and Ümit Kalko, Vice President of TÖDER, was attended by Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Mücahit Yentür, Dr. Talip Emiroğlu, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kocaeli Health and Technology University, rectors, and deans.
Dedication of His Award to Gazan Children
During the night, Gıyasettin Bingöl, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mudanya University, was awarded the Lifetime Education Award. Receiving the award from Fethullah Güner, the General Director of Private Education Institutions of MEB, Bingöl dedicated the award to the children who lost their lives in the Israeli genocide in Gaza and whose right to education was taken away. In his speech, he stated, “As someone who has dedicated his life to education, this award is very meaningful for me. We are a large family and a good team with Bursa Exam Colleges, Bursa Children’s University, Course Centers, and Mudanya University. Every individual in our team has contributed to me receiving the Lifetime Education Award. I extend my endless thanks to those who deemed me worthy of this award and to my team. I will continue to serve education until my last breath.”
