Mehmet Ali Erbeği, the President of the Denizli Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (DESOB), called for tradesmen in Denizli to benefit more from the supports provided by the state and to keep track of these supports.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration continues to support equipment renewal and technological innovations, especially for newly established businesses. An informational meeting was held about the supports provided to tradesmen by KOSGEB. During the meeting, Denizli Provincial Director Dr. Aziz Acar, DESOB President Mehmet Ali Erbeği, and the board of directors, auditing board, and disciplinary board participated to provide information about the supports.
“We continue our supports during the establishment phase of our tradesmen’s businesses”
Denizli Provincial Director Dr. Aziz Acar, who provided information about the renewed supports, stated, “We are providing support starting from the establishment phase of our tradesmen’s businesses. We have provided 10,000 TL to individual businesses established in the last year. An additional establishment support of 10,000 TL is provided if the entrepreneur is a young person, a woman, a disabled person, a veteran, or a first-degree martyr’s relative. In addition, we also have grant supports for machinery, equipment, software, and hardware expenses up to 20 million TL, according to the renewal calls. You can get assistance about these supports from our KOSGEB Provincial Directorate.”
“Our tradesmen should benefit more from grants and supports”
DESOB President Mehmet Ali Erbeği stated that tradesmen need to take more advantage of grants and supports, and that informational and consultancy activities are ongoing. He said, “KOSGEB has reduced the paperwork burden compared to previous years. Access to grants and supports has been facilitated through easier digital access. As DESOB, we also want our tradesmen to benefit even more from grants and supports.”
