An education evaluation meeting regarding the educational projects coordinated by the Van Governorship was held in Özalp.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Governor İbrahim Gültekin at the Özalp Youth Center Conference Hall and attended by Özalp District Governor Rahmi Bulut, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Nurettin Aras, project coordinators from the Governorship, and Özalp District National Education Director Zeki Gülmez. In the meeting, Deputy Governor Gültekin evaluated issues related to education and teaching, stating that education and teaching, which are fundamental to every issue, are of vital importance. Gültekin mentioned that educators bear the responsibility of a very important mission, which is raising generations, and emphasized that they should perform their duties with this awareness. He stated, “Our school principals must be in control of their schools. They should know all details concerning the school from A to Z. They must know their teachers and students very well. If you want to be valued, value others. If you want respect, show respect. If you want to be loved, love. These are universal values that apply to all aspects of life. For schools to turn into family environments and to ensure a harmonious and successful progress, there must be a communication based on love and respect among administrators, teachers, students, and parents, along with a serious and disciplined work ethic.”

Gültekin pointed out that the healthy communication established will accelerate the student’s development and advised administrators to visit students and their families at home to achieve this.

In a speech during the program, Özalp District Governor Rahmi Bulut said, “Let’s carry out our duties with care, dedication, and love. Let’s raise our children as generations that are in harmony with our national and spiritual values, who use their imagination, value science and learning, work patiently without getting tired, and are inclined to produce for the future of our country. This is our moral responsibility and our debt to the homeland above all else. We trust our administrators, teachers, and students. Hopefully, we will all together provide a service worthy of this trust. I wish you all success and ease in the education season.” The meeting, where information was provided about the physical equipment and cleanliness of schools, the problems of transport schools, projects to be implemented and social activities, measures related to student transportation services, and the introduction of the new curriculum, concluded after exchanging views on various topics.
