The “Brand City Kahta Vision Workshop” organized by the Kahta district municipality of Adıyaman took place with high participation.
Citizens, local administrators, and non-governmental organizations showed great interest in the workshop aimed at shaping the future of the district and making Kahta a brand city.
During the workshop, participants shared important opinions and suggestions regarding the development of Kahta, making valuable contributions for a more livable and visionary Kahta. The ideas expressed created a guiding data source for the sustainable planning of the district.
The data obtained from the workshop will be comprehensively evaluated in a panel to be held at a later date, and projects aimed at the development of Kahta will be shaped accordingly. The high level of participation and the great interest shown in the workshop once again highlighted Kahta’s desire to progress towards a common goal.
Kahta Mayor Mehmet Can Hallaç thanked the participants, stating that they would shape the future of Kahta in line with the expectations and needs of the citizens.
In his speech at the program, Mayor Hallaç said, “We have been seriously struggling to determine what we can do for a long time. We have started new efforts to solve the problems one by one in a city that has been left alone. On this occasion, we have always emphasized that we need to work together to solve Kahta’s problems on every platform. Therefore, we initiated a workshop today. We believe that it will contribute with solutions to the various problems of Kahta, which is why we invited you here. We will address the problems of Kahta one by one by setting up various tables. We will hold a conference at the end of November; our workshop is a preparation for the conference. We will discuss Kahta with various participants at the conference.”
At the end of the program, participation certificates were given to those who attended.
