Recently, Bilecik Kartalspor has transferred many players to the U14 and U15 teams of the 2nd and 3rd leagues, continuously making a name for itself with the players they have raised going to good clubs. Bilecik Kartalspor Club President Metehan Kaçar explained that they are trying to cope with the lack of facilities and limited resources, saying, “We are combining our dreams with our young players who set out with a dream of football, introducing them to the concepts of order, attention, and hard work, and preparing them for a semi-professional life with a player factory model to showcase in the academy league teams of professional clubs and in local leagues.”
“Lack of facilities and limited resources”
Bilecik Kartalspor Club Academy Development Coordinator Enes Yasin Çetinkaya explained that their goal is to create a social environment where children can express themselves freely and develop physically and mentally with a sports consciousness. He highlighted that children who participate in sports show positive responses in sleep patterns, nutrition, and academic success in their studies, pointing out that the biggest issue lacking in the region is the lack of facilities. As an academy, their goal is to establish facilities and become a football hub.
“The path to success goes through facilities”
In his continued statement, Enes Yasin Çetinkaya mentioned, “The Bilecik Kartalspor Football Academy emphasizes that the most crucial issue in the city’s football is the lack of facilities, and they are providing education with limited resources. In order to encourage many successful clubs like themselves and more, they expressed their needs to the relevant authorities within the province with a common language, addressing the development of sports in the city. Their goal is to prepare many talented children from the city to showcase in the academy leagues, to honor their families and the city. They are excited about the new three-year planning, having previously achieved success with a three-year plan consisting of 7 academy league and 13 local league successes.”
