President Yalçın: “Our future is guaranteed by our youth with golden bracelets.”

Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın said to the students he met at the ‘Career Days’ program of the OSB Technical College, “Our future is guaranteed by our young people with ‘golden bracelets’.”

The program held in the conference hall of the school located in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone was attended by Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, as well as administrators, teachers, and students. In this informal program, Mayor Yalçın talked about his life experiences. He expressed that he makes an effort to meet with young people at every opportunity; “My dear young brothers and sisters, whom we love more than our own lives, and who have committed themselves to a discipline to wear a ‘golden bracelet’, may your successes be everlasting,” he said. Mayor Yalçın also stated that he is a graduate of an industrial vocational school, saying, “It was the greatest joy when I finished school and entered the Air Maintenance Center across the street. The horizon of children from middle-income families was limited to this. But now, there are young people who say that if I study here, this will happen, and there are teachers to guide them. The families’ resources are also better now. My dear young people, I congratulate you for choosing such a school. The future of the country lies in these schools. On one side, we have our national and spiritual values. On the other side, we have the technology that will take us higher. When I received such an invitation, I gladly accepted it because I would meet with my students. I will recognize our young people, the future of our country, from their eyes, and we are together with our children who spark with enthusiasm,” he stated.

After his speech, Mayor Yalçın answered the questions that the young people were curious about, broadening their horizons. The program ended with a commemorative photo taken together.
