President Özdoğan gifts gold to successful YKS students.

Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan congratulated the students from Hacılar who ranked in the top 150,000 in the YKS exam, presenting them each with a quarter gold coin. Mayor Özdoğan advised the youth to believe in themselves and never give up in order to achieve their dreams, saying, “As your mayor, I am always by your side as an older brother.”

A ceremony was held by the Hacılar Municipality to celebrate the achievements of students who excelled in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) and to support their future. Speaking at the ceremony attended by students and their families, Mayor Özdoğan expressed his happiness in fulfilling their promise to support educational success in Hacılar, stating, “We said to you, work hard and succeed, leave the rest to us. Today, we take pride in fulfilling this promise. We have presented quarter gold coins to 33 students who ranked in the top 150,000. We will continue to stand by our dear young people, who will be the architects of our country’s bright future, in every field.”

“Chase your dreams”

Mayor Özdoğan emphasized the importance of university life for the youth’s future and encouraged them to dream big for their city and country, urging them to pursue those dreams. He said, “Our young people who excelled in the YKS have made us proud, and I wish them all success. This homeland will reach even better points in their hands. We will continue this tradition and prepare new surprises for our youth. We will also have different gifts for our youth preparing for the LGS.”

At the ceremony, Mayor Özdoğan presented gifts to the successful students and thanked the families and teachers who contributed to the education of the young people. At the end of the ceremony, Mayor Özdoğan took a commemorative photo with the successful students.
