The 29th October Republic Cup FUTSAL Tournament organized by the Battalgazi Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate concluded with an exciting final match. A total of 22 teams and 220 athletes participated in the tournament, showcasing the youth’s passion for sports.

A total of 22 teams and 220 athletes participated in the tournament, which not only increased the interest of young people in sports but also celebrated the enthusiasm of the Republic Day. The fiercely contested battle between the Young Boys and FK Kolpaçino teams in the final offered thrilling moments to the spectators. At the end of the challenging match, FK Kolpaçino lifted the championship trophy, becoming the winner of the tournament. The third place was secured by the İnönü City team. The awards for the winning teams were presented by TFF Regional Director Işılay Çalışkan, Battalgazi Deputy Mayor İsmet Sarıgül, and Youth and Sports Services Director Tayfun Güngör. During the ceremony, speakers emphasized the determination and fighting spirit shown by young athletes, highlighting the significance of the organization that combines the spirit of the Republic with sports.

Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın expressed his gratitude to the young people and participants who celebrated the Republic spirit through sports in a statement after the tournament. It is very valuable for us that our youth’s interest in sports is increasing and that they can experience the Republic spirit together through such organizations. We will continue our sports and cultural activities for our youth, who are the guarantee of our future.
