Turkish Airlines’ celebration of the Republic Day on October 29.

Turkish Airlines signed special projects themed around the Turkish Flag on October 29. The flag carrier, which shared a celebration video prepared with its employees from all over the world on the X platform with a special ‘custom like’, became the first brand to use this feature in Turkey.

As the flag carrier airline of Turkey, Turkish Airlines launched a special project on the social media platform ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, due to the Republic Day on October 29. Within the scope of this project, followers who clicked the ‘like’ button on the Republic Day celebration tweet shared from the Turkish Airlines account encountered a surprise Turkish Flag. With this tweet, Turkish Airlines became the first brand in Turkey to use the ‘custom like’ feature on the X platform.

Every user using the #AsBayraklarıAs hashtag was greeted with a surprise Turkish Flag emoji.

The global brand, celebrating the Republic Day with its employees from around the world, also prepared a special video with the slogan ‘Our Name is Turkey, Our Heart is the Republic’ and the hashtag #AsBayraklarıAs. In the posts made on the X platform, every user using the #AsBayraklarıAs hashtag was again greeted with a surprise Turkish Flag emoji.

In a statement regarding the matter, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, said, “We celebrate the 101st anniversary of the proclamation of our Republic, which is the seal of the will of the nation and a symbol of our independence, with great pride, and we commemorate the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his heroic comrades-in-arms, and our dear martyrs and veterans with mercy and gratitude. We present our special projects implemented on this special day for your appreciation.”
