The premiere of the animated film ‘Dumlupınar Great Victory’ was held in Kütahya.

The gala of the animated film “Dumlupınar Büyük Zafer” (Dumlupınar Great Victory), prepared especially for the 101st anniversary of the Republic and supported by the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held in Kütahya.
The gala ceremony, which took place at Kütahya Sera Shopping Mall, was attended by Kütahya Governor Musa Işın, Kütahya Mayor Eyüp Kahveci, Kütahya Air Training Brigade and Garrison Commander Brigadier General Mustafa Baş, Dumlupınar University Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak, and many protocol members as well as citizens.
The animated film “Dumlupınar Büyük Zafer,” directed by İbrahim Soyer and with screenplay and animation work by İbrahim Kiraz, was approved for support by the General Directorate of Cinema in April 2023 and stood out as the production that received the most support among 26 projects.
In his speech during the gala program, Kütahya Governor Musa Işın stated that the film is both emotional and pride-inducing, saying, “Projects like this, which bring the epic heroism of this country to the big screen, are of great importance in transferring our national values to the younger generations.”
Governor Işın thanked the entire team for their efforts during the film’s production process, stating, “This is a laborious job; our noble nation should see how the determination and sacrifice were realized for this land to become our homeland.”
He emphasized the importance of keeping patriotism and national consciousness alive, saying, “We have no other place to go; we are bound to this land and we will die here for this land.”
The gala, hosted by TRT anchor Oya Eren Özkan, concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the film’s director, screenwriter, and producer.
